Technically, the race for the Fourth District seat on the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors is nonpartisan.
But this year’s contest has a partisan feel, with Republican Assemblyman Curt Hagman of Chino Hills taking on Democratic Rep. Gloria Negrete McLeod of Chino in a big money contest. The veteran lawmakers are running for a seat currently held by Gary Ovitt, who has served on the board since 2004 and is not seeking re-election.
